Pool Heaters

Pool heaters are considered an "extra" when installing a pool. However, with owning a heater comes many advantages. Warm water helps to insure that the chlorine in your pool is sanitizing properly. Pool heaters also extend your swimming season. When purchasing a pool heater there are two different options: heat pump pool heater or gas pool heater.

Heat Pump Pool Heater

Heat pumps cost more upfront compared to gas heaters. However, heat pump require less operating cost and are ran using electricity. Heat pumps typically last longer than gas pool heaters.

Gas Pool Heater

Gas pool heaters are highly recommended for individuals with spas. They can be ran off of propane or natural gas. Gas heaters cost less than heat pump. However, there needs to be a gas line that is accessible for use and cost more over time.
